New Faces at Room 58

New Faces at Room 58

With the rapidly growing portfolio of clients needing the specialist skills provided from Room 58, we have added some key people to the team, to ensure we satisfy the demands and challenges of all our clients.

Louise Burke joined Room 58 at the beginning of November as an Account Executive for the Marketing Department. Louise completed her Masters degree in Marketing Management at the University of Gloucestershire earlier this year and is now using her extensive academic experience and knowledge of marketing to support and develop the suite of marketing services available within Room 58. Louise will also handle day-to-day client relationships and communications.

Another addition in November was Lucy Harris as a Trainee Designer. Lucy graduated from the University of Gloucestershire after studying Graphic Design and Professional Media. The university has a strong graphic design department and as a commitment to the local economy, Room 58 is dedicated to the development of new graduates.

Richard Bell also joined Room 58 in December as a trainee member of the Web Development team. Richard graduated from the University of Worcester with a Degree in Computing and IT. Richard will work closely with Pete Jones, Room 58’s Lead Developer to further his development skills. In recent months we have seen an increase in demand for content managed and Web 2.0 interactive web sites.

To support our growth within the multimedia market, we have also recruited a Senior Multimedia Developer. Following his academic study in Professional Media, Jamie Brightmore established a design business focused on multimedia design, especially Flash based applications. Jamie is a rare member of the team as his talents cross both the creative and technical aspects of our business. Jamie brings a considerable amount of insight to Room 58.

We welcome Louise, Lucy, Richard and Jamie to Room 58 and look forward to working together during this exciting and important time.
