Room 58 improves efficiency of pan-European marketing for Harley-Davidson

The region spans over 20 countries from Scandinavia through to Russia and historically the co-ordination of marketing plans has proved challenging.

The online marketing calendar developed in Adobe Flex allows the European Marketing Manager to push out detailed plans of centralised marketing events to each country within the region. Each event links, where appropriate, to the co-ordinating resources located on the dealer extranet and enables dealers to be more proactive with their marketing efforts. The calendar also provides metrics against each project in order that costs and return from each campaign can be measured.

The calendar also empowers the country marketing manager and local dealer to tailor each individual plan. The plans can be printed out, activities are added into Outlook and an action plan to be followed in the dealer environment is automatically generated.
The online marketing tool will improve management and efficiency of marketing Initiatives throughout the region.
