The National Approved Letting Scheme (NALS) is an accreditation scheme for lettings and management agents offering peace of mind to landlords and tenants in knowing that they are dealing with a firm which agrees to meet defined standards of customer service, together with having in place the necessary insurances to protect clients' money plus a customer complaints procedure offering independent redress.

Following the publication of the Rugg Report earlier this year and its key recommendation that lettings and management firms should be regulated and in the long-term licensed, NALS has made the decision to adopt a proactive approach to the sector, engaging not only with letting and management agents but also with the end-benefactor, the landlords and tenants.

Room 58 has kicked-off the partnership with the development of a 12-month marketing and communications strategy. The primary objective is to raise awareness of NALS and the benefits of the scheme.
